This is a performance of the dance Watoto wa Mitaani inspired by the film of the same name. The dance was choreographed by William B. McClellan, Jr., recipient of the Regional Dance America National Choreographic Award for Best Choreography and is set to the musical sounds of hiphop, dancehall, and electro M.I.A, nu jazz artist, Seiji & Peter Jones. The dance was performed by the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company II on April 27, 2008.
